Lovely recreation of a childhood favorite! ? Such a sweet doll,~"Then and Now"~Enjoy him/her again OR for the first time! Display him alongside a vintage composition Patsy or Skipper doll or alone. This precious, Patsy Skipper doll is ready to greet a new generation of doll collectors and measures, 13 1/2" tall, all hard vinyl, 1987-88, and is a very limited edition (60th anniversary edition) replica, by Effanbee of their first made, "Patsy" doll of 1926. Cast from molds taken from an original doll and dressed in a copy of doll clothing of this era, he is a wonderful recreation of their very popular composition doll and makes a terrific addition to any doll collection. He has beautiful brown painted, side-glancing eyes, eyelashes and eyebrows, closed pouty mouth, lovely coloring and molded, black hair beneath his cap. He wears a two-piece, crisp red & white cotton sailor outfit with sailor collar and cuffs, black bow tie, matching panties, white leatherette shoes with buckles and ties and original cute socks. He has a swivel head and joints at his shoulders and hips with slightly bent right arm (exactly as the original 1930's doll) and is complete in his original outfit along with wrist booklet, Certificate of Authentication and labeled box. Just like the original, he is signed on his head: Effanbee/Patsy cprt. 1986 and across his shoulders in raised letters: Effanbee/Ltd. Edition/Skippy Inc./1979. He has no damages or repairs, no fading or stains and no odors as he is from a smoke free home.
