eBay Beautiful recreation of a childhood favorite! ? Straight from a closed store and still tied in the original gift box!Such a sweet doll, ~"Then and Now" ~Precious, 14" tall, all black hard vinyl, 1979/1986, limited edition replica, by Effanbee of their originally made, "Patsy" family doll, PATSY JOAN, of 1949. Cast from molds taken from an original doll, made in the USA and dressed in red and white, polka dot print, pinafore style, cotton dress with white bodice, matching red & white bonnet with large brim & ribbon ties, she is a wonderful recreation of their very popular composition doll and makes a terrific addition to any doll collection. She has beautiful brown, sleep eyes, with inset eyelashes and painted brows, closed mouth and wonderfully molded and painted, short curly black hair. She also wears white socks and white cotton, lace trimmed pantaloons and black patent leather shoes. She has a swivel head and joints at her shoulders and hips with slightly bent right arm (exactly as the original c.1949 doll) and needs to be strung as original stringing band has broken. (no returns, or refunds)She is signed on her head: Effanbee/Patsy cprt.1994 and incised across her shoulders: Effanbee. She is complete in her original Effanbee gift box (model #V522) with her Certificate of Authenticity & Effanbee wrist tag. Matching SKIPPY doll and other dolls are not included and all listed separately. Each doll originally sold for $69.95 & up and has long been discontinued and is no longer available in stores.She has no damages or repairs, no fading or stains and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.
